    I love the plant… Very cool leaves. :)

      yes, it is a dead {“still”} dragon fly. I love dragonflies and wanted to incorporate it into my still life photo. there is a river near where I work and someone had left it on my desk.

      I was not expecting all of the white pumpkins…they were just so beautiful!
      Aren’t they cute? I will pass the compliment along to my friend- they are her somes..I photographed them this past weekend…my two hamhocks can be seen under the Columbus Day Weekend post =).

      My Mother-in-Law gave me this plant on St. Patrick’s Day. Other than a corn plant I owned years ago, this is the only plant I have managed to keep alive =).

      Thanks! The plant is called “Oxalis” originating in South America, also known as Shamrock. They love light and moisture- during the day, the leaves and flowers point towards the sunlight and at night, the shamrocks close up and the flowers droop down.
